The timer keeps the screen awake while it runs when your phone allows it. Nothing is recorded.
Opening checklist
- Room or online space is ready.
- Group format/readings are available from the group's lawful copies or official links.
- Know who has announcements, secretary business, or basket responsibility if the group uses them.
- Know the group's safety contact/process if serious disruption occurs.
- Start and end on time as closely as practical.
Chair prompts
- Invite participation without forcing anyone to speak.
- If the group has a time limit, explain it kindly before sharing begins.
- Protect time without policing people's recovery.
- If discussion drifts far from the group's format, restate the topic or format rather than arguing with a member.
- For safety threats or serious disruption, use the group's safety process; chairing is not a reason to handle danger alone.
Do not embed full copyrighted opening/closing readings. Use the group's own lawful copies, original placeholders, or official AA links.
