Before / After the Meeting
Nothing you type here is sent to us or saved unless you deliberately choose a separate logged-in Save to my journal action.
Before the Meeting
You do not have to fix anything before you walk in. Just arrive.
What do I need to leave outside for the next hour?
What am I willing to hear today?
Can I listen for identification instead of comparison?
Is there someone I might introduce myself to before the meeting starts?
Is there one thing I can be honest about today?
Can I let somebody else be wrong without spending the meeting correcting them in my head?
Am I arriving to receive something, to give something, or both?
Is there a resentment or fear I can set down long enough to listen?
If I am restless, irritable, or discontented, can I notice it without making the room responsible for it?
What would it look like to be present rather than impressive?

Go in. You can decide the rest later.
After the Meeting
Before the meeting disappears into the rest of the day, notice what stayed with you.
What did I hear that stayed with me?
Did something make me uncomfortable in a useful way?
Is there an action I need to take before the day gets away from me?
Is there someone I should call?
Is there something I want to bring to my sponsor?
Did I hear experience I have been resisting because I did not like the messenger?
Was there a newcomer I could greet, call, or be available to?
Did I say something I need to clarify or make right?
What did I hear about recovery that I can practice rather than merely agree with?
What can I leave at the meeting instead of carrying back into the rest of the day?

Take one useful thing with you. You do not have to carry everything.
Nothing you type or choose here is saved or sent. It stays on this screen and disappears when you close or refresh the page.
This page never saves what you type. To keep a reflection, use Continue in my journal; you will write it there, after logging in.
